Pope Francis is inviting all Christians to join an initiative to

pray, fast, and perform works of charity on 14th May,

to implore God for an end to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We pray for our refugee friends during this time of isolation and social distancing.  We ask that they may feel God’s loving presence close to them.

Refugees and Asylum Seekers

Spare a prayer for our Refugee and Migrant friends, many of whom are missing the educational, practical and emotional support of our St Aloysius’ ESOL language school that is currently suspended due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

We look forward to the day that we can welcome our refugee and migrant brothers and sisters back to The Ogilvie Centre of St Aloysius’ Church.

Until then, held in heart, mind and prayer.

We ask you to remember in prayer, the young Syrian refugee who tragically died of the virus whilst accommodated in a Glasgow hotel.  May he rest in peace.

Online Shopping

If you shop online you can help raise funds for our church. You simply log onto the website - and say that you wish to support St Aloysius, Garnethill.  You are then taken to the supplier’s website.  The cost of the product is the exact same to you, but the church receives a percentage of the value.  There are over 1,000 retailers including Argos, John Lewis, Amazon, Marks and Spencer and Next.  So why not do your Christmas shopping the easy way and raise money for St Aloysius Organ Fund at the same time?
